Chateau Musar, 1997, Lebanon
The most well known of the wines from Lebanon made by Serge Hochar. It is a blend of grape varieties that are all typical of the hills of Southern France as well as the Lebanon. Namely - Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan. It is aged for 24 months in French oak to produce this complex, rich and spicy wine, with a good length and well balanced tannins. Excellent bottle ageing.
